Dozens of people from Altun Kupri are demonstrating because of poor electricity supply

– Dozens of residents of Altun Kupri district, northwest of Kirkuk, demonstrated due to poor supply of electricity through the national grid, calling for the change of the district’s electricity director.

The demonstrators accused the district’s Electricity Department of supplying factories, workshops and factories with electricity, which leads to depriving the people of the district, and equipping the Peshmerga forces outside the joint seam front, which negatively affects the district’s equipment and increases the cut-off hours to more than 16 hours per day, and the price of one amp in the private generators reaches 15,000 dinars.
