Baghdad Minister of Industry and Minerals Manhal Aziz al-Khabbaz affirmed Iraq’s readiness to benefit from the experience of industrial cities in Syria, stressing the need to draw up a sound policy and achieve a kind of industrial integration between the two countries in various industrial sectors.
During his visit to the industrial city of Adra in Damascus, Mr. al-Khabbaz said, “The Ministry is ready to benefit from the experience of the industrial cities in Syria, stressing his support and encouragement for the private sector.”
He pointed out “the importance of communication between the chambers of industry in Syria, the Iraqi Federation of Industries and the chambers of industry in Iraq in order to reach understandings and joint ventures that serve both parties, especially since the private sector has freedom and flexibility in dealing and movement, stressing the need to draw up a sound policy and achieve a kind of industrial integration between the two countries in different industrial fields sectors.”
