He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): We are facing a new wave of rising oil prices for two or three years, and it is an opportunity to establish a sovereign fund and another investment fund.

Al-Marsoumi added that: there are more than 6,000 projects that are sluggish and that they need the next economic vision and if it is done, we will notice significant progress..

He explained that: If the opposite is happened, operational spending will increase, economic policy confusion will increase, and more internal and external indebtedness will be added.

Al-Marsoumi stressed: We need to manage the money and put it in the right direction in order to ensure economic and societal progress and prosperity.
