-Entering A Joint Force of Sunni, Shiite, And Turkmen With The Regular Army to Tal Afar Keeps Sectarian Conflict Away

BAGHDAD/ The official spokesman of the Turkish presidency, Ibrahim Kalin said "his country with entry of a combined force of Sunni, Shiite, and Turkmen with the regular army to Tal Afar district."

Turk Press Agency quoted Kalin as saying that "according to the recent news from Iraq, there has been understanding on the entry to Tal Afar by a force of two thousand from Sunni, Shiite, and Turkmen that accompanied the regular Iraqi army, and we require that they comply with this agreement."

Kalin said that "entering Tal Afar by Shia militia alone with force residents of the city to take refuge to Daesh, because their entry will lead to sectarian conflict and this is what Daesh wants." Noting that "Our position is fixed from this point, and we will not stand with folded arms if the militias entered to the city Mosul ".

He explained that "The Turkish position since the beginning of the process of liberalization of Mosul, has been and continues to leave the fate of the city of Mosul to its people.".

The popular mobilization forces managed, over the last few days, to liberate Tal Afar Airport and a number of surrounding villages, and they are approaching from entering the city of Tal Afar.
