Istanbul – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, discussed the Israeli escalation against the Palestinians and ways to calm things down.
The Turkish Presidency’s Communications Department stated, in a statement on Tuesday, that the two presidents discussed, in a phone call, the escalating clashes within the framework of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and ways of calming down.
Erdogan briefed his Brazilian counterpart on the solution proposals presented by Turkey for lasting peace.
He stressed that “no country should add fuel to the fire,” and that everyone must take “concrete steps” regarding humanitarian aid within the framework of human rights./End
