Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced that explosive devices, weapons and ammunition had been found in a security operation in Hawi Al-Azim area in Diyala.

The SMC stated in a statement that the forces of the First Division within the Diyala Operations Command, with all its formations, embarked on a security operation based on accurate intelligence information, in the area of Hawi al-Azim in Diyala Governorate, and found 32 explosive devices in the northern and southern axes opposite the village of Al-Khalafa, which were detonated on site.

It indicated that weapons, ammunition, explosive materials, mines and foodstuffs were also found in different areas of the responsibility sector, in addition to finding two terrorists’ hideouts containing weapons, ammunition, foodstuffs, livelihood and mattresses
