Extinguishing a fire that broke out inside a high building under construction in central Baghdad

Baghdad The Civil Defense teams put out a fire that broke out inside a 26-storey building under construction within the Royal City Complex in Al-Bayjia area, in Al-Mansour.

The civil defense teams faced great difficulties until they were able to reach the upper floors and deal with the accident, after they had to raise the water pressure to those floors by operating the pumps of the fire engines to the fullest possible degree to complete the suppression and cooling operations, and to enhance the effort with additional firefighting teams supporting to put out fire accidents that broke out in palms and shriveled grass at the bottom of the burning building.

It indicated that the cause of the accident was the result of negligence in terms of safety, and a spark of solder flying out to burn the wooden mold of the building.
