Baghdad The Federal Police forces found explosive devices, projectiles and ammunition, in Salah al-Din and Kirkuk governorates.
The Security Media Cell stated in a statement: “A force of the Federal Police carried out a security operation to search “Mkashifa” district in Samarra, Salah al-Din Governorate, which resulted in the finding of a cache of explosive devices and war projectiles, containing 27 packages of various types, 8 mortar rounds, 82 mm. RBG7 rocket launcher, and 16 grenades.
It added: “Other forces from the Federal Police carried out a security operation in the villages of Al-Awashra, Al-Muradiyeh, Al-Mashal, the edge of the Zab River, in Hawija district of Kirkuk governorate, which resulted in finding 5 different explosive devices, and two 60 mm mortar bombs.” .
It indicated that: “The seized materials were processed by the engineering effort detachments.”
