Firefighting teams in the Wasit Civil Defense Directorate put out two fires in a farm in Al-Suwaira district and another in Al-Zubaidiya.
The Director of Civil Defense in the province, Brigadier Samir Al-Mousawi, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that our teams in the Suwaira Civil Defense Center managed to put out a fire accident that broke out in a harvested agricultural land and livestock shelters in the Rabidah area in the same district.
He added, “A fire that broke out in one of the farms in Al-Zubaidiyah district was also controlled and caused the electrical current to be cut off in the Umm Saneem area as a result of damage to the electrical network.”
