Foreign Minister Arrives In New York to participate in the work of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly

Baghdad Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived today, Sunday, in New York to participate in the work of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Minister will deliver Iraq’s speech within the work of this session, and will represent Iraq in a number of meetings that will be held on the sidelines of the scheduled meetings.

It is expected that the minister will meet, according to the ministry’s statement, with a number of foreign ministers and officials from a number of countries in the world to discuss and strengthen bilateral relations, and mobilize efforts to continue their support for Iraq, contribute to the reconstruction of the infrastructure of Iraqi cities, and emphasize Iraq’s foreign policy and its active role in enhancing security and stability and achieving effective economic partnerships, within the framework of government preparations for the approaching the elections on the tenth of Next October.
