Minister of Foreign Affairs Fouad Hussein and his accompanying delegation met, during his current visit to Madrid, with a group of Arab Ambassadors, in the presence of the Iraqi Ambassador, Adel Mustafa Kamel, and Embassy staff.
The Ministry said in a statement that the Minister gave an explanation of Iraq’s foreign policy and the axes pursued by Iraq, represented in achieving balance in relations, non-interference in internal affairs, and the principle of good neighborliness.”
He also gave, according to the statement, an explanation of the Iraqi government’s preparations for holding the elections next October, touching on the existing challenges facing the Iraqi government, including facing the challenges of the pandemic and its economic repercussions, pursuing the remaining gangs of the terrorist organization ISIS, and reconstructing liberated cities.
Hussein pointed to the remarkable success achieved by the Iraqi government in this regard.
