Baghdad The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, on Sunday, the launch of the work of the first meeting to study the repayment of Iraq’s debts to international and Arab organizations.
In a statement, the ministry stated that a meeting was held at the ministry’s headquarters to study “the issue of Iraq’s financial obligations to Arab and international organizations and to establish a mechanism for their timely payment.”
The first meeting resulted in “scheduling the upcoming meetings, as well as collecting basic data for the purpose of studying them, and the meeting included a proposal to arrange the schedules in terms of financial obligations and according to the opinion of the competent ministry.
