Baghdad, German Defense Minister Ursula van der Lien said "Daesh organization has been defeated militarily, but the war with it is not yet over and its militants must not be underestimated,"

In a press statement during her visit to the German soldiers stationed in Jordan as part of the international coalition, she called for "continuing the battle of the international coalition against the organization and not allowing it to move to safe havens."

She added, "our government is considering to reduce the number of its 280 soldiers in the region who are in Jordan within the framework of the international coalition against terrorism in Syria and Iraq," noting that "the number has not been determined so far."

The Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II met yesterday with the German minister in a meeting during which they discussed relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the military and defense fields./ End
