Baghdad Al-Mayadeen TV reported today, Sunday, the killing of gunmen and the arrest of others in clashes with Iranian security at the border with the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

It stressed that “the militants were preparing to carry out attacks and assassinations against the Iranian armed forces, and weapons were seized with the terrorist group during the clash in the border town of Piranshahr.”
