The head of the National Alliance Ammar al-Hakim stressed the need to bridge the national row and the formation of alliances cross-sectarianism.
“Hakim met with the head of the Fatah alliance Hadi al-Amiri and a number of coalition leaders, during the meeting, they discussed the political and security situation in the country and the importance of maintaining military, political and societal victories,” his office statement said.
The two parties stressed the importance of national cohesion and the importance of responsibility and work on the priorities of the current stage and the adoption of the formation of cross-sectarian alliances.
Hakim called for “peacefully transfer of power and encourage citizens and urge them to participate widely in the elections as a constitutional process that maintains democracy and stability.”
He stressed the need to go into the stage of nation-building and overcome the challenge of services and welfare of the people.
