Baghdad The acting head of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Shamran Hajim, met with the non-resident Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to Iraq, Durga Prasad, today, Sunday, at the ministry’s headquarters.
A Foreign Ministry statement said, “During the meeting, means of developing relations between the two countries were discussed in a manner that serves the interests of the two peoples.”
The head of the department “expressed his wishes for success for Prasad in his new duties, expressing the readiness of the protocol department to provide all support and facilities for the success of the mission’s work.”
For his part, Prasad expressed his thanks and gratitude for the good reception, hospitality, facilities and organization during presenting his credentials as a non-resident ambassador to Iraq.”
