IHEC : Security Forces And Popular Mobilization Have The Right To Vote In The Upcoming Elections

Baghdad, A member of the Board of Commissioners, the spokesman of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Karim al-Tamimi confirmed eligibility of members of the security forces and the popular mobilization to vote in the upcoming electoral entitlements.

Tamimi said in a press statement: "The Constitution and the laws in force gave the right to the security forces and popular mobilization the participation through the right to vote in the elections, and the Commission took all the measures and means to ensure the integrity and safety of the general ballot and the special vote."

Al-Tamimi called on all media to deal with the transfer of information about the electoral process accurately and professionally, appreciating the great and vital role played by the media in supporting electoral processes as key partners through their coverage and attendance in all electoral processes. "
