Baghdad  The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC)has expressed its high appreciation for the national and responsible role of teachers in Iraq through their expected contribution to the success of the October 10, 2021 elections.

The IHEC said in a statement: “Iraq’s teachers are at the forefront of the Iraqi elite that raises generations at all times, and here they stand, after a few days, a great stand to cross the country to a stage of stability that will be achieved in transparent and fair elections.”

IHEC stressed: These elections are an occasion to correct and cross everything that has gone through us as a society, and teachers and the general scientific and academic elites must have a role and opinion in consolidating this success that we aspire to and supervising the steps to achieve it
