Kut, Detachments of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department in Wasit Police managed to arrest two persons accused of drug trafficking and abuse in a tight ambush inside the city of Kut.
A source in the Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the defendants were seized with 70 grams of narcotic crystal, 10 drug ampoules, 10 other drug tools, 20 narcotic artine pills, and two 9 mm pistols. He added that legal measures were taken against the defendants and they were referred to the judiciary.
