Baghdad The President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, affirmed that the region faces a great responsibility in overcoming crises and establishing the pillars of regional stability.
A presidential statement said that the President of the Republic discussed, during his meeting with Syrian Ambassador Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, the joint relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples that share close historical and social ties, and the importance of working to develop them to serve the security, stability and interests of the two countries, and to continue the security effort to combat the remnants of terrorism.
The President of the Republic stressed that the countries of the region have a great responsibility in overcoming crises and tensions, and the need to combine efforts and find joint dialogues to consolidate the pillars of regional stability and support the paths of cooperation and integration among the countries of the region, noting that the stability of the region is linked to the stability of Iraq and Syria.
