In its training camp, the Iraqi national team plays a friendly match with Chile

The Iraqi national team will play an international friendly match with Chile, in its upcoming camp, which will be held in the Spanish capital, Madrid, next June.

A source close to the Iraqi national team told Kooora: The Chilean national team agreed to meet the Lions of Mesopotamia during the preparatory training station that will be held in Spain next summer.

The source added: Spain's camp will also witness other matches that will be revealed in the coming days.

He continued: The Iraqi Football Federation did not receive any invitation from its Bolivian counterpart to play a friendly match in the capital, La Paz.

Iraq had previously played with Chile in a single international match in the record of meetings between them, which ended in favor of La Roja with a big score (6-0), and it took place in 2013 in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.

It is noteworthy that the Iraqi national team played 3 matches during the past FIFA days with Mexico, Ecuador and Russia, as part of the Football Association's plan for ideal preparation before the Asian Cup finals and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
