Baquba Joint forces launched a security operation between Diyala Governorate and Kurdistan Region.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Joint forces of the Peshmerga and the army carried out an operation in the hills and slopes near the administrative borders between Diyala and the Kurdistan Region.”
He added, “The operation aims to secure the mountainous areas and reduce the danger of the organization’s dens in the depth.”
