Interior Minister Vows to Combat Corruption and Strengthen Security

Baghdad – In Baghdad, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, the Minister of Interior, has affirmed the Ministry's commitment to eradicating corruption and assuming full responsibility for the security file. This declaration was made during the annual conference of the Ministry's Agency for Police Affairs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Minister Al-Shammari outlined the primary objectives of the Ministry. These include the elimination of corruption, restoring the prestige of the police force and the rule of law, and taking charge of the security file in Baghdad as well as in other provinces.
