Iranian Foreign Minister: We will return to nuclear negotiations soon

Baghdad Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced that Tehran will return to nuclear negotiations soon,” stressing at the same time that negotiations should lead to gains for his country.

In an interview with Iranian television, Amir Abdollahian indicated his participation in the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly and his meetings on the sidelines with Americans (media professionals and thinkers in think tanks) and that one of their questions to Iran was about the nuclear agreement.

He said, “Our logic is the logic of negotiation and dialogue, and we will return to negotiations soon. Of course, negotiations should bring us benefits.”

He stressed that the new Iranian government would not go back to 8, 5, or a year ago, and stated: The Americans always seek to communicate and send messages to us. If the Americans have real (good) intentions, they should release some of the frozen Iranian assets.
