Iraq and Iran Focus on Strengthening Security Cooperation

Baghdad, In a significant move towards bolstering security cooperation, Lieutenant General Adel Abbas Al-Khalidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Police Affairs of Iraq, met with Iranian Police Commander Ahmed Reza Radan. This meeting, held at the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, aimed at enhancing security measures in both countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), the meeting involved discussions on a range of vital topics designed to strengthen security in Iraq and Iran. Both Al-Khalidi and Radan, along with intelligence agents and security leaders from both sides, explored various joint security issues. The discussion also focused on the exchange of information and experiences between the police forces of the two neighboring nations.
