Baghdad Acting Head of the International Organizations and Conferences Department, Abbas Kadhem Obaid, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Pakistan, Ahmed Amjad Ali, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, they discussed topics of common interest raised in regional and international organizations and the importance of coordinating positions and exchanging views on them, as well as ways of joint cooperation in meetings held in international organizations and mechanisms of mutual support between the two countries and ensuring equitable geographical representation of international positions and membership in committees and organs of international organizations.
