Iraq, Armenia Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations And Opening New Horizons For Joint Cooperation

Baghdad Iraq and Armenia discussed strengthening bilateral relations and opening new horizons for joint cooperation.

A Foreign Ministry statement said: “Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received Armenia’s ambassador to Iraq, Hrachya Poladian, on the occasion of the end of his work assignments.

The Minister appreciated the efforts made by the ambassador in strengthening bilateral relations between Baghdad and Yerevan, and wished the ambassador continued success in his future diplomatic duties. The importance of concerted efforts to hold a political consultation session between the two countries at the end of this month was also stressed, because of its significant impact in opening new horizons for joint cooperation.

For his part, the Ambassador of Armenia in Iraq stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries, praising the efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the facilities in the success of the work of the Armenian Embassy in Baghdad, directing an official invitation to the Minister to visit Armenia in the context of increasing the volume of cooperation and coordination between the two countries in all fields.
