Iraq Is The Third Largest Oil Exporter To China Last Month

Baghdad The Chinese Customs Administration showed today, Saturday, that Iraq ranked third as the largest oil exporter to China during the month of December.

It stated in its statistics, “China’s total imports of crude oil during 2021 decreased by 5.4% year on year to 512.83 million metric tons compared to the same period in 2020.

It added, “Iraq ranked third as the largest oil exporter to China during the month of December, with 5.01 million metric tons of crude oil, equivalent to 35.571 million barrels, with an average of 1.147 million barrels per day, an increase of 45.6% over last November, when exports amounted to 3.44 million metric tons.

The Chinese customs indicated, “Russia exceeded Saudi Arabia in its oil exports to China last December, after it was the first Saudi Arabia during the past 11 months, as Russian exports amounted to 7.21 million metric tons, equivalent to 51.191 million barrels or 1.65 million barrels per day, high 8% from last November.

Iraq exports most of its crude oil to East Asia, especially China and India, with a rate of more than 67%, while the rest is exported to Europe and America
