Baghdad The General Company for Iraqi Airways in the Ministry of Transport announced the resumption of direct flights of the Green Bird (Iraqi Airways) from Baghdad and Sulaymaniyah to London.
The Director General of the company, Captain Kifah Hassan, stated: The first scheduled flights started today, Sunday, after completing all the duly procedures.
He added, “One flight will be operated per week as a first stage, in the hope of increasing the number of flights during the coming period,” reiterating his call to travelers wishing to travel via Iraqi Airways General Company’s planes to the British capital, London, to abide by the requirements for travel from Iraq to the United Kingdom and vice versa.
