Iraqi Airways: We Are Ready To Evacuate Iraqis From Ukraine… And We Have Not Received A Request To Do So

Baghdad The Iraqi Airways expressed, today, Monday, its readiness to evacuate Iraqis from Ukraine, while indicating that it had not received any request in this regard.

Iraqi Airways’ spokesman Hussein Jalil told the official Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the flight line between Iraq and Ukraine has been suspended for two years,” noting that “the number of the Iraqi community in Ukraine is not known.”

Jalil added, “The Iraqi Airways is ready for any evacuations of Iraqis stranded in Ukraine through higher directives,” noting that “we have not yet received any request to evacuate Iraqis there.”

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded that the Iraqis in Ukraine leave the Ukrainian lands.
