Iraqi National Football Team Arrives In Qatar

Baghdad  The delegation of the Iraqi national football team has arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for its match with its Iranian counterpart next Tuesday, as part of the first group matches of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

The delegation of the national team had arrived at Baghdad airport this morning, via the Iraqi Airways plane, after a long and arduous journey from South Korea that lasted 14 hours.

The delegation was received by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Adnan Darjal, the head of the Parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee, MP Abbas Aliwi, the head of the normalization committee, Iyad Bunyan, and the secretary general of the normalization committee, Muhammad Farhan.
