The Iraqi delegation of the Civil Aviation Authority, headed by Nael Saad Abdul-Hadi, met with the President of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdul Aziz Al-Duailej, on the sidelines of the 41st General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) held in Canada.

The authority stated in a statement: The meeting discussed several issues, including the return of Saudi carriers to work at Iraqi airports, in addition to cooperation in the field of aviation security and in the field of training and rehabilitation, with the aim of increasing coordination and mutual support in technical matters between the two countries.

The head of the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority praised the great role Iraq plays in the work of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, which reflected positively on the work of the Arab group in ICAO./
