It includes 4 Gulf countries.. The Commander of the Iranian Naval forces reveals a new Naval Alliance

The Commander of the Iranian Naval Forces, Admiral Shahram Irani, announced the formation of new regional and international alliances.

Shahram Irani said in a televised statement that a joint alliance of the Iranian navy will soon be formed with countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Iraq.

He added, “Today, the countries of the region have reached a point that says that if security is to be maintained in the region, this must be done through synergy and mutual cooperation.”

“In this regard, new alliances are taking shape, regionally and internationally,” he added.

Referring to the Naval Alliance between Iran, Russia and China, the Naval Commander said: “This tripartite alliance is being developed with Moscow and Beijing, where we conduct maneuvers every year, and in addition to that, there are regional alliances under formation.”

In response to a question about countries requesting to be present in joint regional action with Iran, the Iranian Admiral said: “We previously had joint work with Oman, and now Saudi Arabia is heading in this direction, and there are also the Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Pakistan and India.”
