The security forces carried out a joint security operation in Khanaqin district in Diyala governorate.
The media of the popular Mobilization stated in a statement that "a force from the 28th Brigade within the Diyala Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in partnership with the Iraqi army, carried out an operation to search villages and orchards north of Khanaqin, northeast of Baquba.
It added that the operation aims to enhance security and stability in the region. Indicating that the operation successfully achieved its set goals.
