Amman: The Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority announced on Sunday the reopening of Jordanian airspace after a risk assessment. The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Haitham Misto, stated that the airspace has been reopened to air traffic following a comprehensive assessment of security risks in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Jordanian authorities had initially decided to close the airspace as a precaution due to the regional tensions witnessed in the area. This temporary closure was part of a broader security measure to ensure the safety of air traffic within the country’s skies.
