Karbala A number of departments and formations of the police command and other security agencies in the holy Karbala governorate implemented security practices that included a number of areas of Al-Hindiya district.

Karbala Police said in a statement: “The Indian Police Department, detachments from the Directorate of Regiment Affairs, intelligence and security agencies, combating crime, traffic and nationality, and detachments of the Department of Management and Training of Police Dogs and Explosives participated in these practices, and resulted in the seizure of a large number of unlicensed weapons and ammunition and traumatic machines after conducting field sweeps and inspection of residential areas and neighborhoods and the countryside, in addition to setting up temporary checkpoints and ambushes in a number of areas of the Hindiya district and the western canal.

He added that a number of wanted persons and suspects had been arrested.
