Kurdistan Ministry Of Interior: Anyone Visiting The Region Must Have A Coronavirus Test

– Today, Monday, the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Region issued strict decisions to confront the wave of Coronavirus.

The ministry said in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: “It will participate in all events and procedures with the rest of the ministries and institutions concerned to confront the pandemic and implement health instructions,” noting: “The instructions emphasize wearing masks and social distancing, not less than two metres.

It added, “Among the measures is controlling border crossings and airports, tightening procedures, as well as urging citizens to take the vaccine.”

Regarding the Eid prayer and the rest of the prayers, it explained: “It must be by implementing all health instructions, including wearing a mask and social distancing, and any violating mosque will be closed.”

It indicated: “For all restaurants and cafeterias that receive citizens inside, the number must be limited, and any violating place will be fined two million dinars,” pointing out that “any person who visits the region from the rest of the provinces must have a coronavirus test within the past 72 hours to enter it.

It pointed out: “The decisions also included the closure of celebration halls and events in hotels, in addition to closing cinema halls in all malls in the region.”
