Baghdad The head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Saad Maan, announced the success of the security plan for the elections.

Maan said in a televised statement: “The plan to secure the elections was flexible and did not witness any interruption,” adding that “we relied on the intelligence effort to secure the electoral process.”

Saad Maan added, “The Supreme Elections Security Committee seized 190 violations to its decisions.”

Maan said: “The ballot box warehouses are fully secured” adding that “the army aviation will participate in the process of transporting the ballot boxes.”
