Baghdad First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, discussed with the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Tariq Al-Faraj strengthen bilateral relations and issues of common interest.

Al-Mandalawi called, according to a statement by his media office, to activate the work of the joint committees between the two countries to find appropriate solutions to some outstanding issues, to activate the work of the Iraqi-Kuwaiti Parliamentary Friendship Committee, and to continue cooperation and mutual coordination at various levels.

He stressed Iraq’s keenness to build the best relations with neighboring countries, especially the Arab ones, and to adopt the principle of partnership, cooperation and mutual respect, in order to achieve common interests.
