Baquba The Mandali power line in Diyala province was subjected to a sabotage act that led to a power outage on two border areas with Iran.
Director of Mandali district Mazen Akram told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today that the Mandali power line east of Baquba, which was newly built to handle the loads, was subjected to sabotage, which led to power cuts for more than 50,000 people.
He added that the electricity supply will be restored after completing emergency maintenance work and re-equipping electricity for citizens during the coming hours.
