Baghdad Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi side regarding the movement of trade and the expansion of customs work.
The General Authority for Customs stated in a press statement: “The memorandum of understanding was signed by an Iraqi delegation represented by the Minister of Transport and the head of the Customs Authority, representing the Ministry of Finance.”
The statement quoted the Director of the General Authority for Customs, Shaker Mahmoud Al-Zubaidi, that: “The complex procedures related to import licenses were discussed, and it was agreed to open the Jamima border crossing and expand the import movement in other ports linking the two countries.
