Baghdad - Iraqi Minister of Electricity Qassim Mohammad Al-Fahdawi discussed with the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad Fatih Yildiz ways of joint cooperation in the field of electrical energy between Iraq and Turkey.
Al-Fahdawi spoke during a meeting with the Turkish ambassador at his office at the ministry's headquarters about the reality of the Iraqi electricity system and the challenges facing the ministry's work.
He stressed the strength of the relationship between the Iraqi government and the Turkish government and the volume of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of electric power. He hoped that the volume of dealing with the Turkish companies in the field of energy will be expanded in order to upgrade this important service. And the private sector to come up with planned results.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador promised Minister Fahdawi the joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of electric power in a broader working format.
