Baghdad The Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Nazanin Muhammad Wasu, directed the speedy implementation of the project to rehabilitate the section 4th (Baghdad – Hilla) within the highway No. (1).

She confirmed, according to a statement by the Ministry, that the 4th road project is one of the most important road projects implemented by the ministry, as it extends from the western Baghdad intersection to the Hilla-Kish intersection, with a total length of 210 km for the back and forth corridors, and 105 km for one lane.

She added that the works in the project included scraping and cladding with a treated surface layer to give permanence to the road, rehabilitating the middle land, cleaning tube and box arches, and protective fence works along the road, as well as furnishing and planning works with reflective thermal paints.
