Baghdad The United Nations Development Program in Iraq and the Ministry of Migration and Displacement today signed a memorandum of understanding that strengthens the partnership between the two parties to support the return and integration of displaced people in Iraq.
A statement by the UN mission said: This memorandum, which will last for three years, emphasizes cooperation between the two sides to support programs and provide technical advice and knowledge on national plans and policies with the aim of supporting the return and reintegration of the displaced and creating an appropriate environment to enhance stability in Iraq.
In 2020, the United Nations Development Program in Iraq launched a five-year program to enhance community cohesion dedicated to promoting stronger, peaceful and more cohesive societies throughout Iraq.
