Baghdad The Ministry of Transport announced the number of visitors who were transported aboard its buses and trains, which are distributed over the transportation points around and inside the holy Karbala.

A statement by the ministry stated: “The number of visitors reached 1,204,800. These numbers were distributed among the ministry’s formations. The largest share was the General Company for Travelers and Delegations, as its buses transported 700,000 visitors on the Baghdad axis, followed by the Private Transport Management Company, which transported 370,000 visitors on three axes Baghdad, Hilla and Najaf.

It added: “The land transport trucks transported 56 thousand visitors, and the General Company for Maritime Transport transported 30,300 visitors on Al-Otaishi axis, and the Iraqi Airways Company participated in the transport, which transported 27 thousand visitors, and railway trains transported 21,500 visitors from the axes of Baghdad and Basra
