Baghdad The politician Mithal Al-Alusi confirmed that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi’s visit to the Iranian capital is important to support the early elections.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the visit showed Washington’s lack of objection to the state of Iraqi-Iranian relations in light of sovereignty and the strengthening of regional security.
Al-Alusi added that Al-Kadhimi’s visit in this circumstance is important to convince Tehran to support the early elections and the frightening atmosphere of their holding, and to win Iranian approval to ext the life of the government.
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi arrived in Tehran today at the head of a large ministerial delegation.
