MoH: 2 Million Doses Of The Pfizer And Sinopharm Vaccines Arrive In Iraq Today / More

The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of two million doses of the vaccine against the emerging coronavirus, in the largest quantity received within one day.

The Director-General of the General Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Appliances (Kimadia) indicated in a statement to the Ministry of Health, “The vaccines received today are produced by both the American company Pfizer and the Chinese company Sinopharm, both of which are approved by the World Health Organization.”

The ministry indicated that: “The shipment will be distributed to all vaccination outlets in Baghdad and all governorates, including the Kurdistan region, the displaced, and both the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the Popular Mobilization Authority,” stressing that all vaccines are safe, effective, and of solid global origins
