MoI And Naif University For Security Sciences Agree To Form A Joint Committee To Develop Proposals Contribute To Raising The Levels Of Security Cooperation

Baghdad The Ministry of Interior agreed with Naif University for Security Sciences to form a joint working committee to develop proposals that contribute to raising the levels of security cooperation.

A statement by the Ministry of the Interior stated, today, Wednesday, that “Senior Undersecretary Hussein Al-Awadi received at the headquarters of the Directorate of Training and Rehabilitation the President of Naif University for Security Sciences, Dr. Abdul Majeed bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, a number of security issues of common interest and ways of enhancing and upgrading them were discussed for the better.”

Al-Awadi stressed the need to strengthen constructive cooperation between the Ministry and Naif University according to solid professional scientific foundations, and to subject security work to scientific research to diagnose deficiencies with experience and to suggest solutions and quick treatments, praising what the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and Naif University for Security Sciences possess of capable minds and academic and scientific expertise to strengthen joint security work and cooperation.

It was also agreed during the meeting to form a joint working committee to develop proposals that contribute to raising the levels of security cooperation, on top of which is the formation of joint delegations to exchange experiences and information and host a number of internal security leaders between the Ministry of Interior and Naif University.

For his part, the President of Naif University for Security Sciences stressed the university’s keenness to exchange experiences with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior due to its long experience in combating crime in its multiple forms, terrorism and economic crime.

The meeting was attended, according to the statement, by Major General Ziad Taha Ali, Director General of Training and Rehabilitation, Major General Saad Maan, Director of the Relations and Information Department, and Assistant Director of the Arab Cooperation Directorate, Colonel Ali al-Maliki
