More Than 13,000 Foreign Travelers To Baghdad Int’l Airport To Participate In The Arbaeen Visit

Baghdad The Ministry of Transport disclosed the number of passengers who were transported on board the national carrier’s planes (Iraqi Airways) from various foreign airports to Baghdad International Airport, during the past ten days, to participate in the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The director of the Iraqi Airways Company, Abbas Omran, said, in a press statement, that “the total number of arrivals amounted to about (13,160) visitors, distributed on (61) direct flights to and from Baghdad Airport, which were implemented within the work plan that is directly supervised by the Ministry of Transport. Referring to the efforts of the staff of the Ministry of Interior represented by the Residency Directorate at the Baghdad airport port and its team of officers and affiliates during the visiting season and their continuous work to provide facilities to visitors
