More Than 13,000 Husseini Processions, Including Arab And foreign, Participate In The Service Of The Arbaeen Pilgrims To Karbala

Karbala The Department of Rites, Processions, and Husseini bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world affiliated with the General Secretariats of the Husseiniya and Abbasid Holy Shrines, announced the number of processions that will participate in the Arbaeen days of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), while stressing the owners of the processions the need to adhere to the application of the conditions of prevention.

The head of the department, Riyadh Neama Al-Salman, said: “Since the twenty-fifth of the sacred month of Muharram, the Department of Hussainiya Rites and Processions has worked on issuing guarantees for the owners of the processions that will participate in the Arbaeen visit.”

He added, “(11356) service processions have been recorded from all Iraqi provinces, and there are (59) Arab and foreign processions that will also participate in the grief of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), including processions from (China, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, India, Nigeria, and Kenya(

He added, “The Husseini processions will be equipped with fuels from white oil and gas, in addition to drinking water to serve the Husseini procession owners, in addition to obligating the sponsors to adhere to the recommendations confirmed by the supreme religious authority, and the directives of the Ministry of Health to implement the conditions of prevention, safety and social distancing, in addition to commitment to the time of the mourning procession set by the department and according to the administrative controls that were pledged by the owners of the Husseini processions during the Arbaeen visit
